If you require information for different geographic zones, and you are unable to interpolate estimates from the published data, then contact Woodland Surveys (WS) at the address below.

It would be useful if you could provide a digital boundary of your area of interest, or a specification such as a radius from a given point, plus the parameters required. WS will respond with an estimate of the cost for the work within 2 days, and if will return the results within 2 working weeks after the work is confirmed.

Some points to bear in mind:
- while the ‘forest and woodland’ information is based on spatial data, which can be re-analysed for the new geographic area, the information for ‘primary processing co-products’, ‘arboricultural arisings’ and ‘SRC’ is based on non-spatial data, and can be re-allocated on a pro-rata basis only,
- private sector data for ‘forest and woodland’ is derived from the National Inventory of Woodland and Trees sample plot data. A valid dataset can only be created if there enough sample points – there is no hard and fast rule, but a circle of radius 20km can be considered a general minimum size.
